About the event

Breathing is the base for practicing effective yoga. The benefits of breathing combined with the movements adds a huge percentage to the physical and psychological aspect of the physical asana practice. Unlike any form of exercise yoga has its own magical way of treating the body with its holistic approach which enables it to treat the cause of the illness both in body and mind.

Traditional Hatha Yoga classes at Kawai Purapura focuses mainly on: 

1. The four parameters of effective yogic breathing according to yoga sutra or yoga encyclopaedia. 

2. Guidance on how to practice “wake up Yoga” on your own everyday at home. 

3. Explanation of science and benefits behind every pose. 

4. Incorporating Bandhas(locks) in your practice for effective healing.
